GUN CITY GALLERY

POLITICAL ART EXHIBITION/CAMPAIGN

Nottingham artist and poet Lord Biro's ongoing exhibition of some of his political artwork, collage, illustrated poems/songs, election fliers, campaign posters (global warming, religion, consumerism, crime etc) and satirical Xmas cards.

Also featured in the exhibition is "The George Bush Yeller Knitted Cross for Wimps" which Lord Biro has awarded to Messr's Blair, Hoon, Straw and Campbell for their reluctance to use London's public transport in case they are blown up by suicide bombers enraged by the invasion of Iraq.

Lord Biro has recently formed a pressure group "Militant Elvis Anti-Tesco Popular Front" which campaigns against the supermarket giant Tesco. He was planning to stand in the Broxtowe constituency in October 2007 before Gordon Brown called the election off. (See manifesto on website below.)

His new play: "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning Shopping In Tesco" and campaign details can be viewed below - click on to Main Site!
