"Thomas the Eurostar Tank Engine Art Show"

A contemporary Art Exhibition by poet/artist Dave Bishop (aka Lord Biro/Bus-Pass Elvis) which takes a satirical look at Brown’s Britain in 2008.

Subjects covered include: Nuclear Power, GM crops, the Smoking Ban, Eco-towns, Caroline Flint, the Great Crested Newt, Margaret Thatcher, Single Mothers, TESCO, ASDA, Sweat Shops, film director Shane Meadows and the 42 Day Detention Bill (many of the campaign flyers from the Howden By-Election where Dave Bishop stood against David Davis will be on show).

The one ray of sunshine in the exhibition is the Militant Elvis Solar-powered Electric Chair, see George Bush on www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFsPgROQ29c.

The electric chair, fresh from resurrecting Chairman Mao (Dalai Elvis Art Show 20 to 31 May, Nottingham) is now unemployed. The next candidate for a free tan will be announced at the opening of the exhibition.

Also to raise funds for the party, we have decided to sell the ‘Elvis Pickled Golden Turd’. (The Elvis Bog Seat Lucky Art Show, Nottingham August 2007. If Damien Hirst can get 10 million for his Golden Calf, we think that the Turd is of more iconic significance and therefore we have put a price tag on it of 50 Million pounds. (The same number as Elvis’s fans. See famous record cover 1959.)
